Malaysia Airlines MH370 Found On Western Australia Beach

Malaysia Airlines Towelette Found On Western Australia Beach (ABC News)

An unwrapped moist towelette branded with the Malaysia Airlines logo has been found on a beach in West Australia -- and it's now being tested to see if it is the first confirmed piece of evidence from the airline's missing plane.

The package was found by a couple strolling the beach near the town of Cervantes, Nine News reports.

Kingsley and Vicki Miller found the package on July 2 of last year, nearly four months after the plane vanished, but news of the discovery was not publicly reported until today.

They reported the discovery to the local police who handed it over to the Joint Agency Coordination Center which is handling the investigation into the missing plane.

No photos of the actual packet the Millers discovered has been release,d but they showed an example of the type of moist towelette that they said matched their find.

A spokesman for the Australian Transport Safety Bureau confirmed their discovery to the Sydney Morning Herald, though urged caution.

"It is unlikely, however, that such a common item with no unique identifier could be conclusively linked with MH370," he said.

Malaysia Airlines flight 370 departed from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on March 8, 2014 and never made it to its intended destination of Beijing. No debris and no remains from the 239 people on board have ever been found.

The one year anniversary of the disappearance of the plane has renewed speculation about the aircraft's location and presumed crash site.

ABC News aviation consultant Steve Ganyard, who previously served as a Marine Corps fighter pilot, said that while we have not been able to find the plane, investigators “have a general idea of where that airplane was going” and have a rough search area approximately 1,000 miles west of Perth, in western Australia.

“I'm pretty comfortable with the satellite hits that we have now,” he told ABC News. “There’s pretty solid evidence that we have now of the airplane heading due south and the last satellite hit."

WATCH: Graphic Video of Suge Knight Running Over and Killing Man

It seems more and more obvious that the purported video of Suge Knight running over two men and killing one of them in Compton will be at the heart of both the defense and the prosecution when the case comes to trial.
It should come as no surprise that TMZ has got and posted a copy of the video in all its gruesome details (which you can see below).

As we reported, Knight – who’s scheduled to be back in court today (03-09-15) – drove to a Tam’s Burgers in Compton where Dr. Dre was filming footage connected with the NWA biopic, “Straight Outta Compton.” Knight had been kicked out of another location shoot 20 minutes earlier, and he claims he went to the burger place to make peace with Dre.

When you watch the video, Knight pulls up and is almost instantly confronted by Cle “Bone” Sloan, who did security for the film. Bone attacks Knight through the driver’s window, when the former music mogul suddenly throws the truck in reverse, clipping Bone with the side view mirror and knocking him down.

Here’s more from TMZ:

You also see Terry Carter — the man who ended up run over and dead — standing near Bone. Terry moves into the parking lot when Suge guns it again, hitting Bone a second time and mowing Terry down, mortally wounding him.

Suge claims he was not trying to run either man over but instead was trying to escape out of fear he would be killed. Suge’s lawyer claims Bone and Terry both had guns. Check out the video. As Bone lays on the ground you clearly see another man walk up, remove something from Bone and put it in his waistband.

Law enforcement tells TMZ … they believe the video shows that Suge could have escaped after hitting Bone the first time by simply driving down the road. But Suge’s people say the group assembled near the truck was ominous and he feared if he drove past them he’d be shot.

We know Suge claims that multiple people in the crowd — including Terry Carter — were threatening to shoot him.

Suge believes the video exonerates him. Prosecutors feel the opposite. (We blurred the portion where Terry is run over … it’s just too gruesome.)

“The Carter family is pleased you are releasing the video so the public can see what actually occurred and not be forced to speculate based on third party descriptions of the video,” says the family’s attorney, Gary Dordick to TMZ.

ISIS : ‘Jihadi John’ apologizes to his family

Mohammed Emwazi has apologized to his family for the shame he has heaped on them after being unmasked as the ISIS butcher from Britain known as Jihadi John.

The Sunday Times of London reports that Emwazi, 26, a British computer science graduate, had conveyed his message of regret from Syria via a third party.

He is said to be sorry for the “problems and trouble the revelation of his identity has caused” for his parents and siblings, according to an informed source.

However, Emwazi has not expressed any remorse for his barbaric actions, which have included the on-camera beheadings of a number of Western hostages.

The Londoner’s family, originally from Kuwait, have been forced into hiding after Emwazi was identified as Jihadi John 10 days ago.
